Marie Osmond and her husband of more than 20 years, Brian Blosil, are calling it quits. The couple announced that they are divorcing on Friday.

"Though our marriage is ending, we continue to have a very amicable relationship," Osmond and husband Brian Blosil, a record producer, said in a joint statement. "Our marriage has always been a faithful one, and neither of us is assigning fault for the divorce."

The couple have raised eight children together.

"Our children, as always, are our top priority and in our deep love for them we will continue to jointly fulfill our roles as active parents in their daily lives," they said in the statement.

"They're thrilled to be adding to their brood," says a rep for Getty confirmed to People. The couple have three childrin currently: son Cassius Paul, 6, and daughters Grace, 5, and Violet, 3.

Getty recently talked about his family at the William S. Paley Television Festival in LA.

Britney Spears / Kevin Federline Chaotic Love Story Comes to an End

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline spent most of yesterday negotiating a divorce settlement thus bringing their chaotic love story to its conclusion.

"The parties signed a global settlement on all issues of their marriage and the custody of the children," said Michael Sands, a spokesman for Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan.

The agreement was worked out in five-hour meeting in the Los Angeles high-rise offices of Spears's attorney. Present for the meeting were Spears and Federline, along with Spears's lawyer Laura Wasser and Federline's counsel Kaplan and Jim Simon. Spears and Federline talked alone during a smoking break downstairs for 15 minutes.

The terms were not revealed and a judge will still have to sign off on the agreement.

The couple were wed in September 2004.

Her representative says the singer / actress is following a macrobiotic diet, eating lots of vegetables and fish, and doing yoga and exercise to meet her help her lose weight.

Michelle Branch Stops Concert to Capture Stalker

Michelle Branch stopped a concert in Sheboygan, Wisconsin earlier this week when she recognized a man who has been stalking her since 2003.

"Michelle Branch just said, 'Wait a second. There's a guy in the audience – striped shirt and glasses – can somebody check him out?' " said audience member Cali Haas. "It left everyone just so confused, like, 'Is this a joke, part of the show?'."

Dominick Giordano was cited for disorderly conduct after staff members at the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts stopped him when he tried to escape the auditorium on Monday.

Authorities revealed that Giordano had been following Branch to her concerts and autograph sessions dating as far back as 2003. He used the up-close back-stage and autograph sessions to attempt to inappropriately touch the singer and had lunged at her in the past.

"He used to get his way into meet-and-greets and private events somehow and would try to approach her and touch her and just really inappropriate stuff," said Branch's road manager, Joshua Scott.

Branch was especially concerned on Monday as her 19-month-old daughter, Owen, was at Monday's concert.

Giovanni Ribisi Honors His Family Pride

Giovanni Ribisi is a proud family man. He's started out as Phoebe's little brother on Friends and has steadily build a solid resume of film credits including Saving Private Ryan. The one thing Giovanni is most proud of is his family and his family name.

Early in his career, he admits he received pressure to change his name but refused. "They did bring it up plenty,” he said, “but only at the start. I’m proud of my name, proud of my parentage, and to change it would have been a family disgrace.”

He passes that pride onto his daughter Lucia whom he shares custody with his ex-wife.

Jane Pratt, the founding editor of Sassy and Jane magazines, claims she had a sexual relationship with Drew Barrymore.

She made the revelation on her new Sirius Satellite radio show saying: "One of my dreams is to return to Howard's show and tell him the truth about Drew Barrymore and me."

She went on to say that years ago Stern had asked her on-air if she had ever had sex with a woman, she told him "yes" at the time but never responded to his inquiry on whether it was it was someone famous.

"It was someone famous," she confessed on her radio show. "I did have sex with Drew Barrymore."

Barrymore was the cover girl on the debut issue of Jane in 1997.

Howard K Stern Says Anna Nicole Refused to Go to the Hospital

Howard K Stern has released a statement stating the Anna Nicole Smith refused to go to the hospital for treatment for the stomach flu, fever, and infection prior to her death to avoid the media that followed her.

The Medical Examiner in Broward County said yesterday that Anna Nicole could have survived had she received medical treatment for her ailments instead of self medicating.

Anna Nicole had a long list of medications in her system at the time of her death, including the powerful sleeping drug chloral hydrate, methadone, valium, several antidepressant and anti-anxiety drugs, longevity medications, vitamin B12 and growth hormone.

The Medical Examiner, Perper said, if only because her drug use could have been controlled: "If she would have gone to the hospital she wouldn't have died because she wouldn't have had the opportunity to take the excessive amount of chloral hydrate."

Both Stern and Smith's physician had attempted to get her to seek emergency treatment but she refused because "she did not want the media frenzy that follows her."

Brian McFadden Says Marriage to Kerry Katona was a Sham

Ex-Westlife star Brian McFadden is claiming that his wedding to Kerry Katona was a total sham. He says they even spent their wedding night apart after a lavish wedding at an Irish castle.

McFadden says of the wedding itself, "It wasn't a real wedding. We were getting married to have a big party and get loads of money for it - and to appear showbiz.

"The day my marriage ended was on the stag night (when he cheated on Katona with a lap dancer). That was the time I felt 'this is not supposed to be'."

McFadden tells Reveal magazine: "At first, I denied the lapdancer thing, but then I was taken to court for calling her a liar.

"If we hadn't had kids, the marriage wouldn't have lasted as long as it did.

"I was too young to understand what having kids meant. Having a child was like getting a dog."

McFadden says the split was a mutual decision: "Kerry had taken the kids and was living with her mum. I was in New York and she phoned me and asked 'Don't you love me any more?'

"I said: 'Not like I did at the start.' She said: 'Neither do I. We have to end it.'

"I left it at that, then got another call saying 'I'm having a press conference to say we're separating. I want to move on with my life.'

"I felt relieved, although I felt sad for the children.

"After the press conference she phoned again and said 'I'm having nothing to do with this, you're the one leaving me. I don't want to break up.'

"I don't talk to her now. But if I had to, I'd only do it for the sake of the kids."

The father of Katona's two eldest daughters Molly, five, and Lily Sue, four, said: "My private life became as artificial as my pop life in Westlife, but I couldn't see it at the time.

"We became a showbiz couple, and everyone was talking about us. That swept me off my feet.

"After we had the first baby, bought a house and spent time together, I woke up one morning and realised 'this is not what I want to do with my life. We don't have anything in common'."

Keith Urban Looking Forward to Fatherhood

Each month brings a new pregnancy rumor for Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman. Now he is publically talking about his desire to add some kids of his own to his family with Nicole Kidman.

“I am looking forward to fatherhood,” he tells UK's Sunday Telegraph. “I have always wanted to be a good dad. My brother’s got two kids and he’s an excellent dad and I think we both have that sense of being home and being solid family guys.”

Urban admits that he doesn’t spend much time with Isabella, 14, and Connor, 12, Nicole’s children from her marriage with Tom Cruise.

“I don’t get to see the kids as much as probably a lot of stepdads would, but it is a good relationship,” he tells the paper.

When the couple does have their much anticipated baby, he doesn't plan on posing for any "baby bump" spreads in the magazines prefering to keep their quiet life in Nashville.

Scott Weiland and Wife Mary Have Hotel Room Brawl

Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland and his wife Mary trashed a Burbank hotel room over the weekend and the hotel wants to press charges for the damage they caused.

The couple reportedly ripped alarm clocks and phones from the sockets throwing them and creating dents and gauges in the walls. It has also been indicated that there was blood found on some of the linens in the room.

The two started "a huge argument" at the hotel on Saturday which was witnessed by their two young children, Noah and Lucy. The children were ultimately escorted away from the fight by Weiland's assistant. Weiland stormed away from the room and Mary processed to throw things around the room. The police were called and the hotel is pressing charges for the damages.

Later on Saturday night, Mary was arrested after she torched his approximately $10,000 wardrobe in front of their home in Toluca Lake, CA.

Weiland previously pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges against Mary in December 2001 and was sentenced to probation and forced to pay a fine.

The kids are currently in the custody of family friends.

Biological Grandfather Fears for Angelina Jolie's New Son

The biological grandfather of Angelina Jolie's newly adopted son, Pax Thien, fears that his daughter will attempt to get money from star and even try to take the child back.

Chien Dung claims his daughter, Pham Thu Dung, 29, is a heroin addict who abandoned her son two days after his birth.

Jolie adopted the three-year-old two weeks ago and Chien believes that when his daughter discovers who adopted her child, she will come looking for cash.

He says, "Our daughter is a heroin addict and she is a bag of trouble. Her life has been ruled by drugs since she was 16.

"She disappears for months on end. Then just when you think you will never see her again, she's back. But we only ever see her when she wants money.

"When she finds out that a rich movie star has adopted her baby, she will go after Angelina Jolie for money and make trouble for her. She may even try to take the child back."

Diana Krall Posts Message to Fans and Gets Ready to Return to Work

Diana Krall, who had twins Dexter and Frank, in December, is returning to work to help raise funds for healthy babies.

The jazz singer will be the featured entertainer at the Mount Sinai Hospital Auxiliary Gala at Toronto's Roy Thomson Hall on May 6. Proceeds will benefit the Auxiliary's $3.5 million "Healthy Babies" pledge for the Women's and Infants' Health Program at the hospital.

"(They) are grand little boys and full of beans," Krall wrote about the twins in a message to her fans on her official Web site. "Sleep often seems like a distant memory but we are all having a wonderful time."

"I have even been able to play the piano for them on occasion without complaint," she added.

Krall's benefit performance is a warm-up for a possible summer tour that she alludes to on her website.

"Angie has become very thin because she's grieving," Haven tells the British publication The Mail on Sunday. "It's even difficult for her to eat. I keep saying to her, 'Don't forget to eat.'"

"But you know she doesn't pay much attention to food anyway and she's been going through a process of grief like me," Haven explained. "She has not wanted to eat, nor has she been able to."

Apparently Angelina associates cooking with her mother's memory.

"There was very much that home feeling when we came back from school," Haven revealed. "Angie and I would walk in and comment on how we could smell things cooking and baking in the kitchen.

He continued: "Or she'd be in the middle of cooking and pick up a carrot and teach us about the vegetable or the fruit so that it was visual as well. Angie is now the same with her kids."

Anna Nicole Smith Died from Accidental Overdose

The Seminole Police Department Chief, Charlie Tiger, announced that Anna Nicole Smith died of "an accidental overdose with no other criminal element present" at a press conference earlier this morning.

The investigators have completed their investigation into the matter which included reviewing hundreds of hours of videotapes captured by the hotel security cameras and analyzing the contents of the laptop computer belonging to Smith's companion, Howard K. Stern.

Tigers said "we found nothing to indicate any foul play."

Broward County medical examiner Dr. Joshua Perper said that Smith's system contained methadone, anti-anxiety and weight-reducing drugs and vitamins among other substances.

Tiger went on to say that his department found "no evidence of illegal drugs" at the death scene.

Britney Spears First Post-Rehab Outing

Britney Spears made her public outing since leaving Malibu's Promises Treatment Center to attend a dance class and a sushi dinner with her girlfriends.

Spears participated in a one-hour hip-hop class at the Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood. She arrived wearing nude fishnet stockings with dance boots, black hot pants, a black long-sleeved shirt and baseball cap over her dark brown wig.

"The minute she walked in, she basically lit up the room," said the dance instructor. "I had no idea she was coming, so I was shocked."

"She did the choreography really well," the instructor added, "In fact, she came in and nailed it."

Spears then headed to Bel Air fusion Japanese eatery SHU Sushi House Unico and met up with three girlfriends around 10 p.m. Upon leaving, the pop star smiled at waiting photographers and gave a friendly wave before heading home alone at about 11:30 p.m.

Rumor: Anna Nicole Smith May Have Died from Sleeping Pill Overdose

With a press conference scheduled for Monday morning to release the cause of death of Anna Nicole Smith, it was a sure bet that someone would leak the information over the weekend.

Both the Star and the National Enquirer are reporting that that Anna Nicole Smith passed away last month due to an overdose of a potent sleep aid. She was also reportedly suffering from a sever blood infection that was the cause of her severe fever and nausea in the days leading up to her death.

The infection was apparently the result of an injection given to the model three days before she died from an unsterilized needle.

The saddest part of the story is that it is probable that Anna Nicole would have survived the infection had she been properly treated in the hospital for the infection.

Denise Richards and Pamela Anderson Sued by Paparazzi

It's usually the stars complaining about the paparazzi, but now two photographers are turning the tables on Denise Richards and Pamela Anderson.

Two paparazzi photographers have sued the two stars of he upcoming film, Blonde and Blonder, claiming that Richards assaulted them during a laptop-throwing incident in November and both Richards and Anderson defamed them in the days following the assault.

Scott Cosman and Rik Fedyck having filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court claiming that they have suffered from nightmares following the run-in at the River Rock Casino Resort in Vancouver during filming of Blonde and Blonder.

According to the lawsuit, Richards "stormed up several flights of stairs to their balcony, launched into a 20-minute verbal tirade and physical assault, and called both men 'paparazzi scum.'"

"She pushed and hit both Fedyck and Cosman, snatched their laptop computers from their hands, and threw them over the balcony with total disregard for ... other guests, including an elderly woman in a wheelchair who was struck by one of the falling computers."

The complaint goes on to claim that the actresses made false accusations to police of harassment, stalking, assault, battery and trespassing and defamed them in public remarks.

Johnny Depp's Daughter Was Hospitalized with E. Coli Virus

The cause of Johnny Depp's daughter, Lily Rose, recent hospitalization was reportedly due to the potentially-fatal E.coli virus.

It was previoulsy reported that the seven-year-old had suffered from blood poisoning.

Family has been the focus of Depp over the last several years since starting his family with girl-friend Vanessa Paradis. Howard K. Stern Getting Kicked Out of his House

Howard K. Stern is getting kicked out of the house he shared with Anna Nicole Smith in the Bahamas. The owner says he so certain that Stern isn't Dannielynn's father that he's evicting him from the property.

G. Ben Thompson purchased the Horizons house in Smith's name with the understanding that Smith would eventually buy it from him.

"We did this only after we found out that the courts directed that Howard K. Stern and the other parties seeking paternity take a DNA test. We know that Howard K. Stern cannot pass that test in any way that would suggest he is the father of that particular child," Thompson's attorney, Godfrey Pinder said. "Once that is done, we know that he will no longer have any reason to be in the house because he will not be the child's father. He is not associated with the child in any way except maybe through the will which we believe is not necessarily a good will and therefore he will have to leave."

Bridget Moynahan Says She's Excited but Nervous About Baby

Bridget Moynahan has kept mum since first revealing that she is expecting her first child with ex-boyfriend Tom Brady last month, today she tapes an episode of Marth Stewart Live.

"Now wouldn't you like to look like that?" Stewart asked her studio audience at the start of the interview."

"What month are you in?"

"This week [it'll be] five months," said Moynahan.

Michelle Williams Dad Will Not be Extradited to the US

Actress Michele Williams' father has won a major battle in his current legal struggles and will not be extradited from Australia to the United States to face tax evasion charges. Larry Williams was arrested in Sydney in May 2007 and accused of tax evasion by the IRS. He's accused of attempting to avoid paying more than $1.5 million in taxes between 1999 and 2001.

Yesterday, Williams was able to convince a full bench of the Federal Court in Sydney that the notice issued which authorized a magistrate to rule on his extradition was invalid. Government lawyers are expected to appeal the ruling.

Geri Halliwell's Former Babysitter Due in Court for Assault on Bluebell

A former babysitter / temporary nanny of ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell is expected in court next week will stand trial in London next week for the alleged assault of Geri's daughter Bluebell and another child.

Jasmine Schmidt is charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm against a two-month-old baby, one count of causing actual bodily harm to a two-month-old child, and one count of grievous bodily harm against a baby of three months.

She is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court to answer the charges next Tuesday.

Kevin Federline Holding onto the Kids For Now

Britney Spears may be out of rehab, but her kids will be staying with estranged husband Kevin Federline for the time being.

A source close to Federline tells Usmagazine.com that K-Fed is "ecstatic, but cautiously focused on Britney's continuing rehab recovery."

Spears currently is receiving custodial visitation of 18-month-old Sean Preston and 6-month-old Jayden James. The custody arrangement will be re-visited as she maintains a more stable lifestyle.

"They are not going to return custody to Britney as a reward for doing her stint in rehab. Kevin's had the children for six weeks and he will continue to have full custody."

The source adds: "Britney has to really demonstrate she can retain sobriety. She was just introduced into a sober lifestyle. Can she maintain it?"

Janice Dickson Banned from Fashion Show

Janice Dickinson created such a scene at last nights Ed Hardy fashion show that she is reportedly banned from attending any future shows by the designer.

Apparently, Dickinson refused to sit in the seat that she had been assigned by the event's organizers and preferred a seat closer to the media. She moved herself to the seats that were assigned to Fern Mallis, lead organizer of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and Davis Factor, co-creator of Smashbox Studio. She ultimately ended up switching seats with Factor at his request.

Later in the evening she was heard trashing the clothing line to reporters and claimed that a model broke her toe backstage.

She has repotedly been requested not to attend future shows by IMG, a leading talent agency.

I've changed some diapers and done some baths! We tuck in and we read, but Mommy is doing more of the diaper duty and the bathing, that's for sure. Let's not try to take any credit away from how great a job Mommy is doing, but, ye, I have done both.

Do you remember the moment when you first felt like a man?
Well, originally I thought I was a man the day they locked the jail door on me, but it was probably when I had my first child. Whether I wanted to be or not, I was a man and I needed to assume full responsibility for this living, breathing, beautiful little thing.

It appears that Sarah McLachlan may be expecting her second child with husband Ashwin Sood. The couple have been vacationing in Hawaii with daughter India Ann Sushil and is sporting what appears to be a very significant baby bump.

"There was an obvious bump," said an eyewitness. "She definitely looked pregnant."

McLachlan has been out of the public eye recently and has not released an announcement about the pregnancy.

"I will never, never get married again," Berry says in the April issue of InStyle.

"After my last relationship [with actor Michael Ealy] broke up I was feeling like, well, it wasn't that I didn't want to be in a relationship, it's just that I thought it would be okay to be on my own," she tells InStyle.

"But he was disarmingly sweet and caring and different. In the past I've been attracted to big personalities. Gabriel was shy. He hardly talked to me at first."

"I had to work at this a little," she says. "It wasn't a slam dunk; it wasn't the guy just showering affection on me. It made it more interesting. We were equally matched – put it that way."

The one thing she does want in the future is to add kids to her family. Adding: "I definitely want children. Very much."

"I want my kids to realize it's only through hard work that any success or real joy comes," she says. "It's not about money; it's the intangible rewards – having integrity and doing what you say you're going to do."

Courteney Cox-Arquette Gets Dirt(y)

Courteney Cox-Arquette has taken a big risk with her new show, Dirt, which ends its first season later this month. I'm still on the fence about the show -- I'm not sure if I like it, yet I do TIVO and make sure I watch it each week. She recently talked with Los Angeles Confidential Magazine about her return to network TV and the balance between work and motherhood.

Some highlights from the article:

LOS ANGELES CONFIDENTIAL: How did Dirt come about?
COURTENEY COX: When I was pregnant with Coco, I was hounded by the paparazzi because they’re so fascinated with celebrity babies and pregnancies. Our head of development, Thea Mann, was witness to a lot of situations I was in where they were just relentless. She said, “We’ve got to do a show about the paparazzi.” We pitched it to F/X, and they bought it in the room. We spent six months looking for the right writer and eventually we met [writer and creator] Matthew Carnahan; he was fantastic and created this really wonderful show centered around a tabloid with a female protagonist, and he made these really rich characters…. Then, when the script was turned in I was like, “Wow, that’s really great, I think I have to play this part.”

LAC: Are you having fun working with your husband on this project?
CC: Yes, David is fantastic, and really a genius in so many ways. He’s not on the set every day because he’s doing his own show, but even when he’s working, he’s constantly on the phone giving notes.

LAC: What’s your take on the love-hate relationship between celebrities and paparazzi?
CC: There are times when paparazzi go too far. There was a party at my house for Jennifer [Aniston] the other night. I don’t know who leaked it, but all day long, there were paparazzi—and I’m talking a ton. Sometimes they get so competitive it’s dangerous, like “Who’s gonna get the shot?” It’s OK as long as it stays within limits. It’s OK to go to a restaurant and get your picture taken—you’re going out and you have to expect something. But when it gets invasive and they’re sitting outside your house, it’s gone too far. I’m kind of torn because I understand. Look, I don’t read those magazines... but don’t think I don’t look at the pictures to see what people are wearing. I “get” the fascination, but if I’m followed every time I leave my house? That’s too much.

LAC: You and Jennifer Aniston are teaming up for the first time since Friends in her guest-starring role on Dirt. Can you talk about your already-infamous kiss?
CC: It’s so not a big deal. It’ll be so disappointing if everyone writes how great a kiss this is, and when they see it, it’s literally a peck.

LAC: How do you measure your success? Do you still have big career landmarks you’re hoping hope to achieve?
CC: Not really. It’s interesting. Now that I’ve had Coco, I don’t really think in those terms anymore. I just want to do things that make me excited, that I have fun doing. When I was on Friends I used to think, Oh, I really want to do a film every summer. It was so important to get film roles. Now, if I got something fantastic I’d be thrilled, but really I just want to do a great job on this show. My life is so full as it is—if I were just to do Dirt and spend time with Coco in the summer, that would be fine, too. But if there’s a great project, I’ll just bring her with me.

Former Spice Girl Mel C Wants Kids -- Soon

Former Spice Gril Melanie Chisolm wants to add to the ever growing Spice Girl family with kids of her own.

Mel C has revealed that she would like to have children and raise them with boyfriend Thomas Starr in their Welsh home.

Mel said: "I'm really excited about the next phase in my life. I daydream about living in Wales and taking the kids to school."

Having watched Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell each go through pregnancy and welcome (or soon welcome) kids in recent years, she would like to add a child of her own soon.

The 33-year-old singer said: "I don't want to leave it too late to have children. I need to be strict with myself."

Mel is content with life right now saying and have already started on the future family home: "We really wanted somewhere outside London and we fell in love with the area. It was completely over our budget: too big and needing lots of work, but we bought it anyway. Hopefully, we will make it our home in the future. It is also a house that would make a wonderful family home."

Chris Rock Embraces His Softer Side

Chris Rock is a comment who defies definition on one hand he's a scathing comic delivering cutting commentary about class, politics, and racism. On the other hand, he's a dedicated father with two duaghters, Lola - 4, and Zhara, 2, with wife Malaak Compton-Rock, and has developed a more tender edge which can be seen on the show inspired by his childhood, Everybody Hates Chris. In latest project, I Think I Love My Wife, which he cowrote, directed, and stars in, he definitely shows us more of his softer side. He recently talked with Life magazine about his career and family. Here's some highlights from the article:

LIFE: When did you know you had made it as a comedian?
ROCK: I still don’t know. I could still go down the tubes at any moment. . . . But who's to say I wouldn't have had a more fulfilling life driving a truck? I love my life, but I don't think I'm any happier than my younger brother Andre, who drives a garbage truck.

LIFE: If kids aren’t born with hate . . .
ROCK: All people naturally hate. My kid bites people now. I didn't teach my kid to bite anybody. Kids say mean stuff. Only through love do we get this evil out of them. Only through love and structure and discipline do they not hate. The kids that hate didn't learn anything, that's the problem.

LIFE: Your new movie examines a marriage that’s in a slump. Do you think it’s possible to have a happy, loyal marriage?
ROCK: Yes, yes, yes. Definitely. It's one of those things you notice later. I'm talking about happiness in general. While you're in it, it's hard, but look back, and it's like, "Wow, that was great." I don't know if you can walk around every day and say "Being married is so great." But after you put in enough time, you can look back and go "This was worth it."

LIFE: There have been reports of trouble in your 10-year marriage—that you even filed for divorce. Is any of that true?
ROCK: No, no, no. My marriage is just like everybody else's. Great like everybody else's and whatever like everybody else's. Everything's fine.

LIFE: What do you love about being married?
ROCK: I love having somebody there—that companion thing. You know who you're going to eat with, who you're going to see a movie with.

LIFE: What’s challenging about it?
ROCK: Comedians are used to working alone, so, if anything, I have to learn to be inclusive.

LIFE: Your parents had a strong marriage. How were they good role models for you?
ROCK: If you live with a single parent, you don’t see compromise. You witness a grown person living in a world where they do what they want to do. When you are raised by two parents, you are constantly watching compromise take place. Just by observing that, it made me a better person.

LIFE: Your father, Julius, passed away in 1988. What did he teach you about being a dad?
ROCK: I used to watch my father go to work every day and come home and be so beat. We had seven kids. I always wondered what he really wanted to do. Now that I’m older and have my own kids, I realize there’s nothing better than to work for your kids. I’m sure he got more gratification from his work [driving a New York Daily News truck] than I do. With me, if I make X amount of money tomorrow, is it really going to affect my kids’ lives? My father was feeding his kids every week, paying the heating bills. If he didn’t [work], then it didn’t get done. There’s a tremendous amount of gratification from that. And a tremendous amount of pressure, too.

LIFE: In what ways has fatherhood changed you?
ROCK: I’m more patient. I’m less of a recluse. I’ve been on TV for a long freaking time, and it can definitely isolate you. You get to where you only have things in common with people in the business, and kids open you up to a new world. You have something in common with just about everybody. I think I’m a better artist. Everything I’ve done since I’ve had kids is better than the stuff I did before I had kids.

LIFE: How do you stay grounded in the maelstrom of celebrity?
ROCK: Seinfeld always says you have to be in harm's way. You can’t have a wall up between you and the people. You gotta just walk. I have friends that don’t associate with regular people. They get in their chauffeur-driven car. [They'll] close off the back of a restaurant. I don't really do that. I go out and walk around, and people come up to me.

LIFE: What's your most prized possession?
ROCK: When you’re a kid, you're like, "Ooh, my Porsche, my house." But when you get older, you realize none of it is really your possession. You’re renting everything. The only thing that's yours is your family. That was very Deepak of me.

LIFE: So how would you define happiness?
ROCK: I'm happy if everybody else is. I'm a big brother, the oldest. If you're happy and I'm not, I'm cool with that. If I'm happy and you’re not, I’m sad.

LIFE: Would you be happy if your girls married a guy like Chris Rock?
ROCK: I'd be happy if they married any guy or girl. I don't care, just be happy. Marry a giraffe for all I care. Just be happy.

LIFE: What makes you happy?
ROCK: I’m happy any weekend that Disney, Pixar, or DreamWorks has an animated movie out. Typical suburban weekend: We get popcorn, see Flushed Away, then we go to Barnes & Noble and read books with the kids. I’ll do pretty much anything with my kids. Hey, I’ve seen the Wiggles more times in the last four years than I’ve seen Prince, okay?

Angelina Jolie Arrives in Hanoi to Collect Passport

Angelina Jolie and family travelled from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on Monday to complete the process in order to travel with her adopted son Pax Thien Jolie back to the United States.

Jolie is expected to meet with U.S. Embassy officials tomorrow to apply for a visa for 3-year-old Pax. As soon as the visa is issued, Pax will be able to travel with her out of Vietnam. The two, along with her 5-year-old Maddox, are expected to leave Hanoi on Wednesday.

Details on the Tori / Candy Spelling Reconciliation

Just days before Tori Spelling gave birth to baby Liam Aaron McDermott, her mother reached out to initiate a reunion with her estranged daughter.

According to a source close to the Spellings, "[Candy] sent Tori an email about three or four weeks ago."

Eonline reveals that Tori and Candy have only communicated via two email exchanges. "They didn't talk in person or even on the phone."

Once Tori had the baby, it appears it opened the doors for a reconciliation. "They didn't come face-to-face until Candy went to the hospital when Tori was in labor," their source adds.

Candy reportedly visited the hospital one more time before Tori and Liam headed home.

Judge Orders DNA Test for Anna Nicole's Daughter

A judge in the Bahamas has ordered Howard K Stern to submit to a paternity test on Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn.

This is a crucial ruling in Larry Birkhead's attempt to find out if he or Stern is Dannielynn's father. Stern was not present at the preceedings although both Birkhead and Anna Nicole's mother Virgie Arther were in the courtroom.

Birkhead is moving forward for what he sees as the case's final outcome and preparing a nursery for Dannielynn.

Both Birkhead and Stern have been ordered back to the Bahamas on Tuesday, March 20 to hear testimony from DNA experts and to determine Stern's fitness as a father.

Madonna Puts a Hold on Nanny's Book

Madonna has successfully stalled her former nanny's attempt at publishing a tell-all about the performer and her family.

Crown Publishing has pulled the plug on the book written by the Madonna's former nanny, Melissa Dumas.

Madonna's lawyers had reportedly pressured the publisher to drop "Live to Tell: My Life as Madonna's Nanny." The book was expected to make revelations on the singer's marriage to film director Guy Ritchie, her family's homelife, and the controversial adoption of Malawian son David Banda.

"I deeply regret that Crown decided not to move forward in publishing [the nanny's] book," agent Sharlene Martin said in a statement.

Larry Birkhead Gets Dumped -- By His Lawyer

Larry Birkhead has been publically dumped again -- this time it's the lawyer, Debra Opri, who has been representing him in his paternity battle against Howard K. Stern who has decided that it is time to part ways.

In a statement released on Friday morning, Opri said, "Larry Birkhead and I have terminated our attorney-client relationship effective immediately."

She added, "My prayers will be with Larry and Dannielynn always."

Birkhead has not yet retained another attorney in the states, but does have a Bahamian attorney who will represent him in an upcoming hearing in the Bahamas.

Angelina Jolie reportedly apologized to her new son, Pax Thien Jolie, for exposing him to the media frenzy that follows the actress.

Jolie tells the newspaper about all the attention focused on her new son by the press: "Photographs and press coverage will make him upset. I'm very worried about that. I would like to say I'm sorry for bringing this into Pax's life."

In response to the critics who have questioned the adoption, Jolie says, "Everyone would agree that children need to have a family. I have the ability to help children fulfill that desire. Why should I say no?"

K-Fed Not Reconciling with Britney Spears

He may be offering her his support while she's in rehab, but Kevin Federline has no plans on reconciling with his ex Britney Spears.

"I talked to Kevin about Britney and he said he's not getting back together with Britney. At least not right now. He just wants to be a friend for her," says a friend of Federline. "She has told him she would get back with him, but he's trying to just do the right thing for everyone right now, but he doesn't want to go back there again."

The couple were reportedly close to working out a divorce settlement earlier this year until Britney's increasingly odd behavior came to light.

Meanwhile, Britney is reportedly warming up to another resident at the Promises rehab center where she is currently residing.

Heather Mills Warned Abut Using Emergency Phone Number

British police have warned Heather Mills McCartney, the estranged wife of former Beatle Paul, about using the emergency services phone number too often.

The former model and current activist is in the middle of a bitter divorce battle with Paul McCartney and has been calling to complain about the media spotlight put on her by the paparazzi.

Mills was warned that if she continues to call the emergency service number excessively, there may be a risk that officers would take her calls less seriously.

"We are having to spend a disproportionate amount of time on one particular person," said the Brighton and Hove police superintendent.

"We are duty-bound to respond, but clearly people who make lots of calls to the police run the risk of being treated as the little boy who cried wolf," he added.

The police have asked that she keep a log of press harrassments rather than using the emergency phone number.

The Beckhams Buy Meg Ryan's House

Victoria and David Beckham have reporteldy put in an offer to purchase a Bel Air mansion that once belonged to Meg Ryan. The couple have been looking for the perfect home since the announcement that he would be playing for the LA Galaxy soccer team.

Posh apprently loves the seven-bedroom, six-bathroom house in the exclusive district of Bel Air.

Bel Air estate agent Joel Cunningham, who showed Victoria the property, said: "Mrs Beckham was very impressed with the property overall, especially the ocean views which can be enjoyed from the bedroom.

"She also was impressed by the close proximity to the local amenities and schools. She was absolutely smitten with the architecture and garden, which is nearly 100 years old and has flowing vines and willow trees.

"She loved the deck area in the garden too, as it offers a great space for a family to gather and eat breakfast or lunch during the warmer months of the year. And the garden has lots of space for the children to run around in."

The secuiryt measures installed in the house were a big plus in the sale of the home.

He added: "In addition to the large 8 ft high security fence surrounding the property, there's also a front wall and gates that are even higher than the massive fence, at a massive 11 ft."

Rumor: Is Demi Moore Expecting?

The rumbling is getting louder with the rumor that Demi Moore may be expecting her first child with husband Ashton Kutcher.

The actress' representative says: "If or when Demi is pregnant, she and her husband will decide if that extremely private information should be made public." advertisement

The very odd piece of the story is that Ashton's reps released an email on Wednesday to promote his new show "The Real Wedding Crashers" saying that the actor will not answer any personal questions.

I think there may be an announcement soon!

An email said: "Questions will be taken from in-person journalists as well as from press on the phone.

"Please do not ask Ashton Kutcher any 'personal' questions."

The couple have previously said that they would like to have a child together.

There's a defnite them going on with the names of Angelina Jolies kids. Here's a breakdown of their meanings:

~ Pax Thien, 3: The family's newest addition name was changed today from Pham Quang Sang to Pax Thien which means "peaceful sky". Pax means "peace" in Latin, and "Thien" means sky in Vietnamese.

~ Maddox Chivan, 5: Jolie changed her first child's name from Rath Vibol to Maddox Chivan. Maddox is a Celtic word meaning "beneficent" and Chivan has no identifiable origin. The family uses his nickname Mad.

~ Zahara Marley, 2: Zahara was born with the name Tena Adam. Zahara means "flower" in Swahili and "to shine" in Hebrew. Marley is a reference to the reggae singer Bob Marley.

~ Shiloh Nouvel, 10 months: Jolie gave birth to the Shiloh last year in the African country of Namibia. Shiloh means "peaceful one," in Hebrew. Nouvel is a reference to Jean Nouvel, a famous French architect.

Gwyneth Paltrow has been told that she needs to put on some weight if she wants to play Marlene Dietrich in a film about the entertainer's life.

Dietrich's daughter Maria Riva has said that Gwyneth and many of her fellow actresses are just too skinny to star as her mother.

"I think Gwyneth will need some helpings of good old apple pie and plenty of ice cream!" she said.

Jenna Elfman is set to appear with her former "Dharma & Greg" mother-in-law Susan Sullivan on an upcoming episode of "Brothers and Sisters" set to air April 15.

Gwen Stefani has decided to move her family to a London hotel in order to have more room for her wardrobe and entourage.

Stefani says it's easier to temporarily stay in a hotel suite so she can coordinate her stylist, personal trainer and nanny.

She says, "It's just so much easier to have all my clothes and my stylist next to me. Plus my nanny, my manager, my trainer. It's a whole team of people."
