Gwen Stefani's Biological Clock is Ticking

Gwen Stefani has a solid family and a sucessful career, but she admits that she can hear her biological clock ticking.

"I pray that I can have another baby," Stefani says. "I mean, it's such a miracle to have one. And there's so much I still want to do, because who knows? Things could be a lot harder a few years from now. I mean, I'm not at the beginning of my career. I'm on a ticking clock. And I don't want to miss anything."

Her 7-month old son, Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, has transitioned seamlessly into the live of a a show-business professional, says Stefani.

"There's this huge team of us always hanging out together, so he gets to see the same people every day," Stefani says of her entourage of stylists, dancers and others. "And he's this very cool, chilled-out little guy. He's just like another person, except that he's super-cute and super-entertaining."

Stefani is planning to tour in the spring bringin Kingston along, and says that she has extra energy right now thanks to nursing the baby.

"I'm still nursing," she says, "and I think it gives you superhuman powers."

After Kingston's birth, Stefani had no time to lose in getting her body back into rock goddess shape.

"That was one of the hardest things for me — the pressure of, 'OK, I need to get into shape so that I can put this record out.' If I didn't have that pressure, I don't think I would have gotten the baby weight off so quickly."

She certainly hasn't been wasting any time this year with her album, upcoming tour, and flourishing fashion line which is all handled with Kingston in tow, it definitely appears that Stefani can face whatever challenges are ahead without missing a beat.
