I think the advertising rates for Just Jared, CBB, Dooce, Pink etc will be too high for you, even though I also read those everyday. They are quite expensive since they have so many readers, I think. I don't know what your daily traffic is? Maybe try to find others in that area? Mommy blogs probably are the way to go, if they accept ads...I don't know too much about ads on blogs, just going from my basic marketing background. You could do a bunch of ads on many smaller blogs for awhile, or spend more on one big ad for a shorter period of time...
