Variety has released the names of its honorees for their first annual Power of Women Luncheon, in partnership with Lifetime Television and Lifetime Movie Network.
The women were selected based on their significant contribution to their chosen individual charities. Aguilera was chosen for her work on behalf of World Hunger Relief.
Joining her in the honors are Christina Applegate for Right Action for Women, January Jones for Oceana, and Anne Hathaway for Service Nation.
The awards will be held at a special event on September 24 at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel.
Michelle Sobrino, Variety's associate publisher says of the event, "We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Variety's Power of Women event, honoring an incredible group of women who are dedicated to utilizing their positions in the entertainment industry to further awareness and affect change for various causes."
Aguilera has a 19-month-old son, Max Liron, with husband Jordan Bratman.
