Former Melrose Place star Josie Bissett has been named the Celebrity Mom of the Year by the Moms Choice Awards. To celebrate the award, the actress is featured on the cover of ENTRO magazine with her children Mason, 8, and Maya, 6.
Since leaving Melrose Place, Bissett has appeared in numerous TV movies and will next be seen in the Lifetime TV film, The Other Woman, set to debut on June 28. During her time between acting opportunities, the busy mom keeps herself busy writing children's books. Her latest book, Tickle Monster, is due to be released in August.
Inspired by her son's laughter to write her latest book, Bissett explains: “There is no better feeling than hearing the glorious sound of my children laughing and being playful. Laughing is healthy for the body, mind, and soul, and my kids can’t get enough of it—I see to that!”
