Britney Spears has reportedly been placed on lock down for a mental evaluation. The decision comes after Spears locked herself in a room in her home with son Jayden James on Thursday and refused to hand him over to ex-husband Kevin Federline.A source has told People magazine that it was the couple's court-appointed child monitor who called police on Thursday evening. "She had already put Preston in the car when Britney locked herself in a room with Jayden," says the source. "The cops came and got through the door and tied her down to a gurney."
Spears is currently in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she has been admitted for a minimum of a 72-hour lock down for mental evaluation.
Spears's father Jaime has remained at the hospital with his daughter since last night.
