Britney Spears Hospitalized Following Custodial Dispute

Britney Spears was taken from her home around 11 PM last night and is currently in a Los Angeles hospital for further evaluation. The police had been called to her Studio City home around 8 PM regarding "a custodial dispute" involving her children.

It was determined that the children, who were with Spears at the time of the call, were supposed to be with ex-husband Kevin Federline almost three hours later.

Multiple officers responded to the call including two fire trucks, two ambulances, and a police helicopter. Spears was removed from her home on an ambulance gurney.

LAPD officer Jason Lee revealed, "While officers were on the scene, they observed Ms. Spears under the influence of an unknown substance. She is now being taken in for an evaluation, more than likely to a hospital. There were no reported injuries to anyone involved including the children."

The incident reportedly started when Spears, who has visitation rights with her two sons Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, was scheduled to turn over the boys over to Federline at 7 p.m. When his bodyguard arrived to pick up the boys, Spears refused to turn them over.

We'll have more details as they become available.

She's a train wreck. Her boys must be terrified to be around her.

This has NOTHING to do with the paparazzi, nor does it have anything to do with her fans. This is about a woman who is out of control and emotionally unstable. Frankly, I'm glad they're finally going to evaluate her. Maybe she can get some help so those babies don't get more poorly effected by this. :( So sad.
