New Mom Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon Wants Sleep for Christmas

Ah, life as a new mom of twins. New mom of two-month-old-twins Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon has a small request for Christmas: "Sleep," she laughs. "All I want for Christmas is sleep."

"It's going good, [but] we're exhausted," she said at the Los Angeles premiere of the play The Color Purple. "It's unbelievable how hard it is, really."

Beauvais-Nilon did some prep work before welcoming sons, Jax and Jaid, but admits that a book can't really prepare you for life with twins. "But you can't be prepared. No book can really tell you how to hold one and burp the other, which I was doing at 4 o'clock in the morning."

"At first I wanted them on the same schedule but then I realized that you can't really do it at the same time," says Beauvais-Nilon. "You can't feed them and change diapers at the same time. Now I kind of want them to piggyback the time."
