16-year-old Nickelodean star Jamie Lynn Spears is expecting her first child according to the network. Jamie Lynn is the younger sister to Britney Spears."We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being," says the network.
Jamie Lynn stars on the hit series Zoey 101 about a schoolgirl at the fictitious Pacific Coast Academy which is currently wrapping up its third season.
Update: The family has given an interview to OK! magazine and revealed that the baby's father is her boyfriend Casey Aldridge whom she met at church.
