It's not a good day for Britney Spears... The advertisement for her latest fragrance, Believe, was unveiled and there is some debate as to whether it is really her body in the photograph or that of a body double.
The photo shows Spears with blonde hair and what looks like her pre-baby body. According to Elizabeth Arden which manufactures the perfume, the photo was shot earlier this summer.
During the photo shoot, Spears bolted from the set much like she did with the recent OK! magazine photospread. During her absenses, Cayli Cavaco stepped in while the photographer tested the lighting. Spears later returned and they reportedly finished shooting the ad.
A rep for Elizabeth Arden released the following statement:
“We recently shot Britney Spears for the print campaign for her new fragrance Britney Spears Believe, in Santa Monica. It is true that Britney did leave the set; however, she returned after a brief time. Cayli was the wardrobe assistant on the shoot. We used her as a stand in so that we could set up the lighting while Britney was off the set. When Britney returned, we shot the national print ad with her. The only person in the national print ad for Britney’s Believe fragrance is Britney Spears.”
