Victoria Beckham Inspires Geri Halliwell's Line of Children's Books

Geri Halliwell has written a series of children's books inspired by herself and fomer Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham.

The series of books follows a nine-year-old schoolgirl named Ugenia Lavender who has a strong resemeblence to Geri herself as she solves mysteries. The girl shares Geri's red hair and striking blue eyes.

Also included in the series is a princess named Posh Vatoria inspired by the former Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham.

Geri Ugenia as "flawed, demanding and obnoxious." She adds that she "cares about the world she lives in."

Posh Vatoria was created with Victoria's blessing.

Geri says: "She was very flattered and I hope she is going to read the books to her boys. I have only cast people if it is authentic to the story. I don't know if the other Spice Girls will be in there."

Geri started writing the books while pregnant with 11-month-old daughter Bluebell Madonna.

Geri also plans to record a theme song to be released in conjunction with her books.

The series will hit shelves starting in May 2008 with a new release each month up until October 2008.
