Jennifer Garner tells In Style magazine that she loves everything about being a mother.
Garner says that adding 16-month-old daughter Violet to her life has been a real joy. "I don't want to miss a second with Violet," says Garner.
Garner goes on to say that when she's away from Violet, she feels like a "love-struck teenager."
One of the surprises of motherhood for Garner was how much she loved nursing Violet. She says: "That surprised me – how much I loved [nursing] and how effortless it has been to pump anywhere in the world."
Despite her mom's strong feelings, Violet is a daddy's girl: "Violet prefers him to anyone," Garner says. "He's a teddy bear of a guy. Nothing makes me happier than to see the two of them together and her little hands on his face."
In fact, Garner says her life right now is like a dream come true. "You know how as a kid you picture yourself with a tall, handsome husband, and you imagine him cuddling your baby?" she asks. "Ben is like that, like, on crack."
Motherhood has brought about another challenge for Garner -- the pressure to lose that stubborn baby weight. "You're supposed to look a certain way when you're a celebrity, but I want to take care of my baby, and those two things don't mesh very well," she says.
She has stepped up her efforts with the help of a trainer from Boston University's men's hockey team who Affleck hired while he was shooting a movie in Boston.
