Danny Bonaduce is devastated by his impending divorce and says he may never get over his split from wife of 17 years, Gretchen. Bonaduce says, ""She just looked at me and said, 'I'm not in love with you anymore,' and three days later after I stopped crying I said 'Okie, dokie.' I will love her for the rest of my life and I want her to stay with me forever and ever."
As for Gretchen, she says, "We really weren't getting along and I think, for the kids sake, that it's the right time to do it. It's better to be from a broken home than in a broken home."
Bonaduce admits he thought that his stint in rehab for substance abuse last year would help heal the rift between the two. He adds, "We always hoped that once I actually got sober, we could get past it and I guess unfortunately we couldn't."
