Rod Stewart is currently performing a string of sold-out shows in the United States and has hired a lavish jet to shuttle him back and fourth to London to care for one-year-old Alastair. Alastair's mom, Penny Lancaster, is currently recuperating in a London hospital following surgery on her back and Stewart wants the infant to feel abandoned.He says, "This is about our son. He's just a baby, and he doesn't have a dad.
"His mum is in the hospital and he's feeling a bit abandoned. He doesn't understand."
