Britney Spears and Paris Hilton BFFs No More

A couple of months ago they were inseperable, now it appears that Britney Spears and Paris Hilton cannot even be seen in the same room together.

Both Spears and Hilton were scheduled to appear at the Heatherette fashion show at Fashion Week -- Hilton was to model and Spears had reserved front-row seats -- and they each bailed out at the last minute apparently due to the chance of running into each other.

Spears even made it to the back door of the show before doing an about-face.

"Ten minutes before the show started, they got a call that Britney was in the parking area outside," says a backstage witness. "They went out with a Heatherette sweatshirt to throw over her head, but there was no Britney. She got to the parking lot and bailed."
