Van Halen has finally named its new bassist and the band is keeping it in the family! The group has hired 15-year-old Wolfgang Van Halen -- the son of guitarist Eddie Van Halen and estranged wife Valerie Bertinelli -- as the new bassist for the band. Wolfgang will replace longtime bassist Michael Anthony, who left the band earlier this year. Wolfie, as he is known, has already been rehearsing in the studio with the group and played dates with the band during their 2004 tour.
The band is still missing a major component - they are currently without a lead singer, despite rumors that David Lee Roth might rejoin the band.
