Matt Lauer and wife Annette have welcomed their third child. Son, Thijs (pronounced "Tice"), was born on Tuesday. The name is a shortened form of Matthijs, which is Dutch for Matthew."The baby was born this morning at 9:37 a.m. in New York City. He weighed 7 lbs., 4 oz.," according to Today spokesperson Megan Kopf. "Mom, Dad and baby are all doing well."
This is the third child for the couple. He joins brother Jack, 5, and sister Romy, 3.
