Some women take the high road and keep quiet. Others choose to expose their husbands cheating ways. Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon definitely falls in the later group!
The former NYPD Blue actress, 43, penned an angry email full of accusations of infidelity against her husband and sent it to some of his colleagues including those at Creative Artists Agency, where Michael Nilon works as an agent.
The e-mail, which was exposed by the New York Post, contained the subject line "Tiger Woods/Jesse James/Mike Nilon."
In the message Beauvais-Nilon vented: "What do they have in common ... I found out today that MY husband of almost 9 yrs has been having an affair for 5 yrs with some slut in Chicago. I am devastated!!!! And I have been duped!! Our boys don't deserve this!"
With a few days to think about the message (and with some help of some savvy PR folks), she has toned down her official response today by releasing a statement saying, "My focus at this time is on my kids and healing the pain. There will be no further comment.”
The couple have 2-year-old twin boys Jax and Jaid. Beauvais-Nilon also has a teenage son from a previous marriage.
