Melissa Joan Hart and her husband Mark Wilkerson are the latest celebrities to join us with handmedowns.com to raise funds for one of their favorite charities. The couple have opted to donates benefits from their auction to Friends of the Family, a charity dedicated to helping people down on their luck turn their lives around.
“Friends of the Family is a truly exceptional organization,” Melissa explains. “They help abused spouses get free of the abuser. They help children that are shy find their voices. They help teen parents stay in school, find jobs, and learn how to be good parents.”
Items up for auction include an Orbit stroller system, two moses basket, a Radio Flyer Rocking Horse, and several stuffed animals.
The auction run through Wednesday August 5.
