Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are a bit upset at the owner's of Los Angeles baby boutique Petit Tresor. The couple's attorney sent a cease-and-desist letter to the boutique owner, Samantha Winch, to prompt her to stop feeding stories to the tabloids about their spending habits for daughter Suri.
In his letter the couple's lawyer Aaron J. Moss accuses store reps of violating their clients' privacy and passing along "simply false" false. The letter comes following claims that the couple have spent between $350,000 and $400,000 in the two Petit Tresor stores in Life & Style magazine. The letter claims that the story was placed "for the purpose of enhancing [the store's] image and obtaining a commercial advantage."
