Scott Baio was sure that he and his fiancée, former Playmate Renee Sloane, were expecting a baby boy. Much to his surprise, the couple learned that the baby will be a little girl."All my life I had wanted a son," said Baio. "Of course we are getting a girl. It wasn't disappointing, but it was just something to adjust to because I had been 100 percent sure we were having a boy."
He's taking the news in stride and happy to wait her arrival: "It's just like that great Rolling Stones song, you don't get what you want, you get what you need. I needed to have a girl. It may be cosmic payback a little bit, but it needed to happen."
Sloane has an 18-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
