Kim Fields is best remembered as Tootie from The Facts of Life, but right now she is getting ready for a new role. She's going to be playing the role of mom to her first child that is due in May. "It is amazing, surreal," says Fields. "For as maternal as I've felt all my life, it still has the 'Wow!' factor."
Fields and boyrfiend Christopher Morgan, a Broadway actor, have been together "a couple of years" and made the decision to have a child together this summer.
"We were on the subway one day and Chris said, 'I'm ready to start our family,' " Fields says. "It was beautiful and I started to weep."
The couple hasn't found out the baby's sex quite yet, but they've already decided on names: "If she's a girl, Aria Grace, and if he's a boy, Sebastian Alexander."
