Country singer Josh Turner and his wife, Jennifer Ford Turner, welcomed a son on Friday. Hampton Otis Turner weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. This is the first child for the couple who married in 2003."I have been so blessed in my career and my life," the South Carolina native says on his site. "It means so much to me that my family is here to celebrate this special occasion with me.”
Turner plans to stay home with his wife and newborn before he resumes touring the country next month according to his label.
