I never, ever watch The View, but I tuned in this morning when I heard Kate would be on and I'm glad I did. She is infectiously adorable and knowing the reason behind her son's long hair made me see it in a whole new light and now I love that she's kept his hair long. It's so sweet - she said it's Hasidic tradition not to cut a boy's hair until he's 3 (something about comparing a boy to a tree, that a tree is 3 before it makes seeds or something like that, I'm a little off on the exact details) but it was really sweet.
I love it that so many mamas in Hollywood wear their babies/toddlers, but I can't help but to wish that I could tell them to move the sling lower onto their shoulder. Like where the arm joint is. When it's up on the shoulder near the neck, that puts strain on the neck, but when it's on that joint, the shoulder carries the brunt of the weight and it's easier to wear baby for a longer time period. Sorry to go off, but I see it in all the celebrity pics and this one was so blatant.
I jsut saw a recent photo of her which showed her with a new summer 'do - hair up to the shoulders. Has she already gone and had extensions put in?
