Catholic actress Nicole Kidman has denied she is seeking an annulment of her marriage to Tom Cruise so she can marry her country singer boyfriend Keith Urban in a church.
Australian media originally reported the story, alleging the Cold Mountain beauty would be granted the request because her marriage to Cruise, which lasted 11 years, did not conform to Catholic requirements.
But her American publicist has quashed the rumour, telling website The Scoop: "I'm afraid (I've) never heard this before."
The actress' Australian spokeswoman repeated the denial, adding she doubted if Kidman and Urban were even planning an engagement yet.
She said: "I've never been told by Nicole that she is actually engaged.
"If and when she marries again, I'm sure she will make some sort of announcement."
