Bradd Pitt and Adam Sandler Slam Vanity Fair Piece
Actors BRAD PITT and ADAM SANDLER are slamming VANITY FAIR magazine's expose on Hollywood detective ANTHONY PELLICANO, insisting allegations of their involvement in the scandal are untrue. The actors, along with Paramount studio head BRAD GREY and a representative for the late actor CHRIS FARLEY, deny they ever hired the private investigator, as the story alleges. CINDY GUAGENTI, who represents both Pitt and Sandler said in a statement, "Brad Pitt, Adam Sandler and the late Chris Farley have never once engaged in the services of Anthony Pellicano, either directly or through a representative." Guagenti added that the actors were not contacted by the magazine before the story was published. Pellicano is currently awaiting trial on charges he illegally wiretapped the phones of a number of stars including SYLVESTER STALLONE, GARRY SHANDLING and KEITH CARRADINE. CHRIS ROCK has already been revealed as one alleged client of Pellicano's. The magazine also claims MICHAEL JACKSON, STEVE BING, STEVIE WONDER, JAMES WOODS and KEVIN COSTNER used Pellicano's services.
