The winner of the eighth season of the reality singing competition revealed the news on Twitter following a serious car accident involving his family. After being involved in a head-on collision, the singer tweeted, "Thank you Ford for equipping me with a care that kept my whole family and the little one we have on the way safe."
He quickly followed up with a second Tweet writing, "Yes I got in a really bad wreck tonight and yes I'm having a lil baby. #gonnabeadaddy".
The singer is set to head on the road for his "Out Alive" tour next week, but will have to sideline his guitar playing duties for a bit as he recovers from his injuries.
