The on-again / off-again relationship of Robin Wright and Sean Penn is finished. The couple were officially divorced on July 22 in Marin County, California. The former couple have privately reached a settlement on child support, spousal support, separation of assets and custody over their son, Hopper Jack, 17.
The couple originally started divorce proceedings in December 2007 only to reconcile four months later. They separated for a second time in April 2009 and reunited a month later.
Wright again filed for divorce in August 2009 and declared that there would be no more reconciliations.
Robin has stated that she plans on remaining friends with her ex for the benefit of their children - Harper, 19, and Hopper Jack, 17.
