Nearly four months after her arrival, Josie Brooklyn Duggar, is headed home. The micropreemie left the hospital earlier today with her father Jim Bob and mom Michelle."We're grateful for the prayers of thousands," Jim Bob Duggar told People magazine of getting to bring his 19th child home.
Michelle adds, "We are so excited, we are running on adrenaline. I have been getting into the routine of every three hours feeding, diapering and taking her temperature. We are so encouraged that she is doing so well."
Josie arrived on December 10 via emergency C-section at just 25 weeks' gestation after Michelle developed preemclampsia. She weighed only 1 lb. 6 oz. at birth.
Josie's arrival home will be followed on an upcoming special 19 Kids and Counting: Josie Comes Home which is scheduled to air on Sunday, May 9, at 8/7 Central on TLC.
