Shaunie O'Neal has filed for a legal separation from 37-year-old basketball star, Shaquille O'Neal. Papers for the separation were filed Monday in Los Angeles.In the filing, Shaunie cites irreconcilable differences for the breakup and is seeking sole custody of their children, ages 3 to 9.
This is the second split for the couple. Shaq had previously filed for divorce in Miami-Dade County, Florida in 2007.
There is a prenuptial agreement in place for the couple who have been married for seven years.
