It's a Girl for Annika Sorenstam!!

The Hall of Fame golfer Annika Sorenstam welcomed her daughter Ava Madelyn McGee on Tuesday morning. Ava weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 inches long.

She annonced the news on her website writing: "Mike and I are happy to announce that I gave birth to our little girl at 3:30AM this morning. Ava Madelyn McGee is six pounds 10 ounces and 19 inches long. We are all doing well and we truly appreciate the support we have received. We are VERY excited about our new addition and will keep everyone posted in the coming weeks."

Sorenstam retired from the LPGA Tour last year after 72 victories and 10 major titles in order to focus on building a family. .

She married Mike McGee in January of this year.
