Melrose Place has its first official tenant. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has signed on to the much buzzed-about CW spin-off.According to industry reports, she will play a lead character named Violet who is described as "a bright-eyed but shrewd small-town girl and recent L.A. transplant who has come to town with a secret."
