New mom Salma Hayek isn't having any issues being a woman over 40 in youth-obsessed Hollywood."I'm 41 now," she said while being honored at the Women in Film Crystal+Lucy Awards. "And I have to say, it is the best time in my life."
Rather than focus on getting older, Hayek says that she feels that she is finally coming into her own.
"I have learned to enjoy time to be a woman. I have learned to enjoy how to do the most that I can with what I have," says Hayek who welcomed daughter Valentina last September. "It is a good thing to be a 41-year-old Latina woman in America."
She's also learned one of the most important lessons of being a working mother. "I delegate a lot more," she says. "I'm very lucky because I have great people around me."
