A paparazzi photographer has been arrested for allegedly stalking Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiance Casey Aldridge.Edwin Merrino was arrested on Tuesday after the Spears' family filed a complaint stating that he refused to leave the couple alone. He was released on bond later the same day and is due back in court on June 8.
The photographer in question says that he was at least 200 feet away from the couple and was trying to take a picture of them using a telephoto lens.
"I just think since I was the only one there, it was just easier for them to single me out," says Merrino (Note - he just happens to be one of the photographers who captured the infamous photos of Britney Spears getting out of a car without her underpants last year).
