The 5-year-old daughter of Grammy Award-winning Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman's was killed Wednesday in a tragic accident. Maria Sue Chapman was playing in the driveway of her family home near Nashville when she was accidentally struck by a SUV driven by her teenaged brother.
"It looks like a tragic accident," a spokesperson for the Tennessee Highway Patrol tells the Associated Press.
The accident was witnessed by several family members.
I just want to say that I am praying for the Chapman family as I cannot even begin to imagine what they are going through...
