Star Search winner Sam Harris, who won the competition in its premiere season, and his long-term partner, Danny Jacobsen, have welcomed their first child.Cooper Atticus Harris-Jacobson was born Wednesday in Los Angeles . He weighed in at 7 lbs. 3 oz. The couple were both present in the delivery room with the birth mother for Cooper's arrival.
"We are thrilled and overjoyed," Harris says.
Harris is currently working on his next album, titled "Free," due for release in July.
