The New Kids on the Block reunited for the first time in 15 years on the Today Show this morning. The group including Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood were on hand to announce a new album and an upcoming tour."There's no turning back now!" Wahlberg said.
"We started recording in August," Wahlberg said. "Music brought us back."
He insisted, "We still have some moves. We have new material. We're very excited for everybody to hear about it."
The group will perform for the first time on the Today Show on May 18 followed by a tour in the fall in select cities.
The tour may see some new additions as the former kids have a bunch of kids of their own. Walberg has two son with wife Kim Fey - Xavier and Elijah. McIntyre welcomed his first child, Griffin, with wife Barrett in November. Jordan Knight has two sons, Dante, 8, and Eric, 13 months. Wood currently has three children (Anthony, Chance, and Vega) with ex-wife Patricia and a son, Daniel Jr. with ex-girlfriend Elise Stepherson.
