Actor Ryan Phillippe has worked to find the balance between work and being a father to daughter Ava, 8, and son Deacon, 4."My kids are great," said the actor at the Stop-Loss press day in Beverly Hills. "[I'm] writing right now ... I finished [Franklyn], a really cool film in London, at the beginning of the winter. And yeah, man, no complaints."
It hasn't always been easy -- especially following his divorce from actress Reese Witherspoon in 2006.
"You feel like a bad father," the actor admitted. "Last night, I got home exhausted ... At the end of a press junket, literally you don't want to talk anymore. And I felt like a mute father."
