Reese Witherspoon Visits a New Orleans School

Reese Witherspoon will be making an appearance on the upcoming Idol Gives Back Special. During the special, Witherspoon is shown visiting the New Orleans Children's Defense Fund Freedom School where troubled children learn to become community leaders.



This is not her first trip to the city to support the Freedom Schools, the actress previously made a trip in 2006 to help open the very first Freedom School.



Brad Pitt, Miley Cyrus, Robin Williams and Mariah Carey are also slated to take part in the Idol Gives Back show. Last year, the special helped to raise more than $75 million to help fight poverty in America.
