Heath Ledger's death on January 22 has been deemed an accidental overdose of prescription drug by, the Office of Chief Medical Examiner for the City of New York.
"Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine," the Medical Examiner's office said an announcement released today.
"We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications," the statement concluded.
