Kevin Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan has called an emergency meeting at Los Angeles Superior Court for this morning in the couple's ongoing custody battle. Spears' attorney, Tara Scott, was also present at the hearing despite having requested to be removed from the case earlier this week.A rep for Kaplan told the waiting crowd of reporters, "Due to the circumstances, Mark Kaplan will not be making any statements to the media today."
It is expected that Kaplan will ask the judge to strip Spears of visitation for the time being. Spears is currently a patient at L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai hospital following a reported breakdown late in the day yesterday.
