Dennis Quaid says that the staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center misled him about the condition of his twins while they were being treated there. He tells the Los Angeles Times that doctors told him the twins were "fine" even as doctors scrambled to reverse a blood thinning medicine overdose.
Quaid recalls the events of the evening of November 18 stating that he called the hospital that evening and was assured that his kids with wife Kimberly were "fine". What they didn't tell him was that two hours before his call, nurses had noticed blood oozing from a intravenous line on his daughter's arm and a spot on her heel.
"Our kids could have been dying, and we wouldn't have been able to come down to the hospital to say goodbye," Quaid tells the paper.
