Daniel Baldwin and his wife, Joanne Smith-Baldwin, have welcomed daughter Avis Ann Baldwin. She arrived this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and weighed in at 7 lbs. 10 oz."Thank god she looks like her mother," Baldwin jokes.
Smith-Baldwin is a chef and former model, she says: "I'm ecstatically happy. Daniel wasn't as nervous as me. He's a little used to this sort of thing. I'm glad he's got some experience in this area."
This is the fourth child for Daniel and the first for Joanne.
The couple met during Baldwin's most recent stint at a rehab facility last year (Joanne was the chef at the facility at the time). They were married last July.
