Denise Richard's Mom Passes Away Following Long Cancer Battle

Denise Richards's mother, Joni, passed away in Los Angeles Friday following a long battle with cancer.

The actress' rep, Jill Fritzo, confirmed to People magazine that her mother was surrounded by family when she died.

Richards was scheduled to cohost The View early next week, but has postponed her appearance.
