Busy mother of three (with another on the way) Brooke Burke has written a new blog entry at Baboosh Baby offering her design tips and experience with creating a baby nursery.
She writes:
"I wanted to share some info with anyone who is expecting. I worked with a nursery designer while I was pregnant with Rain. We pulled fabrics together, came up with a color scheme and we discussed all the necessities that a nursery should have. Designing a room can be overwhelming, and the pieces one might chose may not utilize space in the best way. I found that seeing an actual sketch was really helpful. I highly recommend using a designer and incorporating your own personal touch and desires. A lot of the work can be done via e-mail. I worked with Tori Swam from New Arrivals. Check out her website, www.newarrivalsinc.com, there you can see many of her celebrity nurseries, and some great pics of Rain's own. She saved me so much time and stress. If it's in your budget, do it. If not, it is still a great idea to research many different websites for inspiration. Get all the help you can get during your pregnancy. Here is a shot of Rain and I in her girly, pink nursery. Good luck - Brooke."
Brooke and fiance, actor David Charvet have a one-year-old daughter Heaven Rain and are expecting their second child in March. She also has two daughters - Neriah, 7, and Sierra, 5 - with ex-husband Dr. Garth Fisher.
Brooke's newest addition is Baboosh Baby, a new webstore that offer's her new line of "Taut" post-partum belly wraps, stretch-mark oils, organic t-shirts and environmentally friendly diaper bags.
