CNN Headline News anchor Nancy Grace was hospitalized Sunday with complications after giving birth prematurely to twins on November 4th. Her husband, David Linch, says the anchor is now out of danger and doing fine. She is expected to go home from the hospital by the end of the week.
Linch says Grace is "doing pretty doggone good," and that she is on medication that "has had a dramatic impact" on her condition.
"She is breathing effortlessly now," Linch says. "The swelling around her legs and feet have pretty much gone away."
Grace was originally released from an Atlanta hospital last week following the birth of her twins, John David and Lucy Elizabeth. The twins arrived two months ahead of schedule due to pulmonary edema.
The babies are doing well and are out of the critical area. Linch said, "John David has gone from being fed via a tube to primarily being fed by a bottle and today is the first day they're going to try to give Lucy Elizabeth a bottle. Her weight is going up and she's doing quite well. They're out of the critical area and have stabilized pretty well."
