Britney "Devastated" by VMA Performance

Viewers weren't the only ones that were disappointed by Britney Spears' performance at last night's MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.

After the performance the singer was reportedly spotted "crying badly [backstage]. She's devastated. She was really nervous and knows she screwed up."

Spears may have had some idea that the performance wasn't going to live up to its hype as a VMA insider tells UW Weekly that Spears fired her hairstylist right before going onstage.
