Tom Brady Wants a Time Out for Baby's Birth

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is hoping that he can take a timeout for the arrival of his baby with former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

"I hope so," Brady, 30, said Monday, although he said he'll need to get the approval of Patriots coach Bill Belichick

"Bill has a lot to say," Brady acknowledged, "so we'll deal with it when it happens."

He went on: "Certainly, a lot of people make sacrifices for their family, and I'm dealing with a certain situation, a very joyous, happy situation."

Brady did not disclose whether the baby is due before the season opener on September 9. Moynahan and Brady broke up last December before the pregnancy was announced.

He is currently dating supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
