Jaime Pressly Proves There Are Times When You Shouldn't Criticize Others

I typically like Jaime Pressly and I especially like her upfront attitude about motherhood and pregnancy. However there are times when you should just keep your opinions to yourself.

One of those time would be when you're leaving a Maxim / X-Games party at 1:00 AM following a very busy weekend of partying in Las Vegas. That would not be a very good time to criticize other celebrity parents in the presence of paparazzi video cameras.

TMZ caught new-mom Pressly trash-talking Britney Spears parenting skills while leaving the Maxim at Area in Los Angeles. Pressly sent this message to Spears: "Don't drink and drive," and "If you can't be a mother, then don't be -- and let somebody who can."

Of course, at the time we can assume that somebody else was at home taking care of Jaime's own two-month-old son Dezi James.

I am not a big fan of Britney Spears but I feel that Jamie Pressly's comments were inappropriate and rude. She has no right to judge another person that she probably doesn't know very well. Everyone has opinions about everyone else but you can express these in a respectful and kind manner. Obviously she has concerns for Britney Spears children but instead of slagging her off in public maybe call her for coffee or something. If you think you can be a positive role model in her life..become friends with her and support her. She appears to need good friends in her life and other moms who are responsible and positive. Sorry about the rant (:

Amen. Her comments really, really rubbed me the wrong way, too. More so after I learned that Jaime herself was exiting a club in the early morning hours when she said it. Timing is everything, and hers just makes her look kind of like a hypocrite...

So true. She also said some awful things about people who adopt, saying they are too lazy to get pregnant. Um, last time I checked at my adoption support group, most of us had infertility and/or a desire to help the children stuck in orphanages around the world. For many of us it took 3 + years and over 30K, assessments, police checks, references, document gathering....um ya, that's lazy!
