Diana Krall Doesn't Need Sleep

Diana Krall has embraced motherhood with the same down to earth style as her music. She returned to the road this summer in mid-July with her twin boys, Dexter and Frank, in tow.

"Been away for a while," she said from her perch on the piano bench at the Hollywood Bowl. "Had two babies -- at the same time."

She's been busy keeping the boys occupied on the bus, she says: "Singing 'The wheels on the bus go round and round' for 18 hours a day. . . ."

"Bein' a mom," she went on, "is the best thing that ever happened to me. Who needs sleep?"

Krall and husband Elvis Costello welcomed sons Dexter Henry Lorcan and Frank Harlan James in December 2006.
